Workshop with Michael New, Ph.D.
In this presentation, Dr. Michael New will discuss how pro-life educational, service, and legislative efforts have all played a key role in reducing the U.S. abortion rate by more than 50 percent — even before the reversal of Roe v. Wade. Dr. New will detail the lifesaving impact of the federal Hyde Amendment and various state level pro-life laws. Additionally, he will discuss how the Supreme Court’s 2022 reversal of Roe v. Wade creates even more exciting opportunities to continue this progress. Specifically, he will show how increases in the number of children being born in Texas and other states provide powerful statistical evidence that pro-life laws passed after the reversal of Roe v. Wade are saving thousands of lives.
