The fall of Roe created mainstream and secular media opportunities for the pro-life movement. However, biased news reporting, whether intentional or not, continues to distort pro-life organizations’ messages. This workshop will help pro-life groups build, strengthen, and promote their “brand” amid a media ravenously seeking new angles to cover in the dialogue surrounding abortion. Participants will learn to: Create messages that resonate with wider audiences; Find reporters who value learning more about their organizations; Build better relationships with reporters; Offer op-ed articles to local media; Plan events and craft public statements that appeal to the media.
